The Futures Alpha Vector 3/2 fin has a concave surface on the inside of the front fins increasing the surface area, lift and water attachment whilst reducing Drag.
The Vector 3/2 is a speed Generating fin, maximizing water attachement over multiple planing surfaces. The unique concave surface and twist in the upper half provide grip and a projection sensation, delivering fluid speed generation in smaller waves, resulting in faster and improved turns.
With an extra 3 degrees of cant and 2 degrees of toe ( 3/2) and introducing a twist to the foil for improved planing angles in sharp turns.
The Scimitar tip developed in 2006 is a flattened edge at the fins trailing edge, which tightens the arc by reducing the templates length.
