Shortboards for when it actually gets good
Shapes that work on UK reefs and punchy beach breaks
Shortboards are for surfers who can paddle, catch waves early and want to turn hard. Most of ours sit in the 5'8" to 6'4" bracket, in volumes suited to real British surfers (not 65kg pros). If Rest Bay reef is chest to head high and clean, or Freshwater West is firing, these are the boards you want under your feet.
Brands and shapes we stock
Pyzel Ghost and Phantom for bigger, hollower days. Channel Islands Happy and Fever for everyday performance. A range of step-downs and small-wave shortboards for weaker swells, which, let's be honest, is most of the year. New models come in through the season.

Rest Bay local? Pop in
We are five minutes from Rest Bay, so you can have a proper look before buying. Shortboards are unforgiving if the volume is wrong, and trying to judge litres from a photo on your phone is a mug's game. Bring your height, weight and a rough idea of the boards you have ridden, and we will point you at something sensible.
Not sure if you are ready for a shortboard yet? A mid-length will catch you more waves than your ego wants to admit.
