Katin is one of the original names in Californian surf, making gear since 1954. It started when Walter and Nancy Katin sewed hard-wearing canvas boat covers in Surfside, California, then began stitching trunks for local surfers who wanted shorts that could take a beating. That sailcloth heritage still runs through the brand today, built around durable cotton, clean lines and a classic West Coast look.
