Vissla
Vissla is the California label flying the Creators and Innovators flag, with a decent chunk of the range built from recycled plastics, organic cotton and regenerative fabrics. We stock their boardshorts and tees, the styles with the cleaner graphics and the better fabrics. The boardshorts in particular are worth a look if you want something that dries fast and doesn't look like corporate surf kit. Small range, good quality, sensible prices.

Creators and Innovators, properly
Vissla backs that tagline up with actual material choices, recycled PET in the boardshort fabrics, organic cotton in the tees, upcycled coconut fibres in some of the trunks. It's not marketing fluff, it's in the spec sheet.
Boardshorts and tees
The boardshorts sit at a 17 to 19 inch outseam depending on the style, with stretch panels where you need them and no itchy tag on the waistband. The tees are standard weight, cut a little relaxed, with the kind of hand-drawn graphics that don't feel dated two seasons on.

Tested off Rest Bay
Decent summer boardshorts are a short window in South Wales. When it's warm enough to surf trunks-only at Rest, Vissla is in the rotation. They dry on the drive home, which matters.
Small brand, small range, nothing half-baked.
