Ask anyone who surfs through a Welsh winter what their best purchase was, and most of them will say the robe. Trying to get out of a 5/4 in a car park with a bin bag in February is miserable. A proper changing robe with a waterproof outer and fleece lining turns it into a two-minute job instead of a ten-minute ordeal.
Dryrobe, Voited, Vivida, Red Paddle
We stock the proper ones because the cheap knock-offs leak, get cold quickly and fall apart. Dryrobe is the obvious name, Voited and Vivida are excellent alternatives at different price points, and Red Paddle makes a solid option for paddlers too. Cheaper Rip Curl and Billabong robes work fine for summer-only surfers.
