A proper heritage brand, not a nostalgia act
Santa Cruz started in 1973 and pretty much invented the modern skateboard deck. Jim Phillips' Screaming Hand logo turned up in 1985 and has been on bedroom walls and griptape ever since. They still press quality 7-ply maple, still push the team hard, and still make some of the best-looking graphics in skating.
