Homeware
Coastal homeware with a surf aesthetic, candles, ceramics, beach towels and throws from independent UK brands and a few imports. The sort of thing that looks right in a Porthcawl kitchen or a Bristol flat without tipping into seaside tat.

What's in the homeware collection
Around 23 products across candles, ceramics, textiles and small decor. Soy candles in scents that actually smell like sea air and suncream rather than a generic 'ocean' fragrance, hand-thrown mugs from small UK makers, large cotton beach towels that double as sofa throws, woven blankets for the van or the campervan conversion, a few prints and small ceramics. Skewed toward independents where possible, with a few larger brands filling gaps. Natural fibres, muted colours, nothing that screams gift shop.
Good to know
Most of the textiles in here are cotton or cotton blend, machine washable at 30, which matters if you're using the beach towels as intended. The ceramics are dishwasher safe unless the label says otherwise (the hand-thrown pieces mostly aren't, treat them as hand-wash). Candles are soy wax rather than paraffin, so they burn cleaner and don't give the room that waxy smell.
Pairs well with
Worth looking through living for the full home range, towels specifically for the larger beach and bath options, and gifts if you're buying for a housewarming or Christmas.
Pick up in store at Rest Bay
The Well Street shop in Porthcawl has most of the homeware range on display, candles are worth smelling in person rather than guessing from a description. Five minutes from Rest Bay if you're down for a surf.
