Sticky Bumps at Balsa Surf Shop
The original surf wax
Sticky Bumps launched in 1971 and invented the temperature-rated wax system everyone else has copied. The formula is still made in California, still gives you proper bumps when you work it in, and still costs less than a coffee. There's a reason it's in every surf shop on the planet.
Pick the right temperature
Cold (under 60F / 15C) is what you want for UK winter and spring. Cool (60-68F / 15-20C) covers UK summer in most years. Warm (64-74F / 18-23C) and Tropical (above 74F / 23C) are for warmer trips. Always basecoat with Cold first for harder bumps that last longer, then topcoat with the right temperature.
Kit out the rest of your surf gear: surfboards | surfboard fins | surfboard leashes | deck grips | men's wetsuits
