Year-round layering
A good hoodie is probably the single most worn thing in most womens wardrobes around here. Over a bikini walking back up from Rest Bay, under a waterproof in January, on its own at the pub in September. The ones we stock are chosen with that in mind. Proper weight, cuffs that do not go baggy after five washes, and hoods that actually fit your head when it is blowing a gale on the Pembrokeshire coast path.
Brands and fabrics
Patagonia Fitz Roy hoodies are a bit of a shop favourite, built in organic cotton with the classic graphic on the chest. Synchilla fleece pullovers are the warmer sister for winter. Billabong and Rip Curl bring the surf-brand staples, Rhythm lean softer and more minimal, and Sisstrevolution add some cropped and oversized cuts. Fabrics are a mix of organic cotton, recycled polyester fleece and loopback blends.
