Creatures Deckpads
Creatures of Leisure tail pads in stock at Balsa, covering shortboards, fish, step-ups and longboards. The range includes pro models from Mick Fanning, Kelly Slater, Italo Ferreira and Griffin Colapinto, plus the core Reliance and Icon shapes if you want something simpler. All of them use dense EVA foam with deep diamond grooves, a proper kick tail and 3M backing that actually stays stuck. Posted across the UK from the shop in Porthcawl, usually out the door within a day.

Creatures Deckpads: Grip Where It Counts
Why Creatures pads are worth the extra fiver
Creatures of Leisure has been making tail pads out of Australia since 1993, which is a long time to get the kick, arch and grip dialled. The diamond groove pattern clears water and sand, the EVA foam holds up through cold winter sessions, and the 3M adhesive doesn't peel the first time your board heats up in the back of the car.
Pro models or core shapes
Pick a pro model (Slater, Fanning, Ferreira, Colapinto, Medina) if you want a signature kick and arch. Go for the Reliance or Icon if you'd rather keep it clean. Two-piece pads for high-performance boards, three-piece for more surface area, single block for grovellers and longboards.
Kit out the rest of the board: Surfboards | Surfboard Fins | Surfboard Leashes | Deck Grips | Men's Wetsuits
Tested in Rest Bay, shipped UK-wide
Rest Bay is rarely kind to tail pads, cold water, sharp sand and the odd reef sneeze, and Creatures stands up to it. Order online or call into the shop and we'll help you match a pad to your board.
