RVCA, the Balance of Opposites, is the California label that sits halfway between surf, skate, art and fight wear. We stock their tees, hoodies, hats and selected boardshorts, across the washed colours and VA-logo basics they've built the brand on. The fits are slightly more tailored than most US surf labels, which is worth knowing if you usually size up. Good staples that work in the water and off it.

RVCA at Balsa Surf Shop

Surf, skate, art, all in one

RVCA runs an artist network programme alongside the clothing, which is why the graphics feel more considered than the usual surf-brand tee. The everyday range we stock is the quieter end of that, washed tees, mid-weight hoodies, simple VA cap logos, and a handful of boardshorts.

Fit notes

RVCA cuts slightly slimmer than Billabong or Rip Curl across the chest and sleeve. If you're between sizes, go up one. The hoodies are a proper weight, not the papery stuff a lot of surf brands have drifted into.
