The Drylock range is the warmest in the lineup with internal drain holes and quick-dry construction. Infiniti boots offer excellent warmth at a more accessible price point. Both lines use dipped construction for maximum flexibility and grip on the board.
Split Toe vs Round Toe
XCEL offers both split toe and round toe designs. Split toe boots give better board feel and toe grip, which most surfers prefer for performance. Round toe boots are warmer as your toes share heat and are easier to get on and off. We stock both options across the thickness range so you can choose based on your local water temperature and personal preference. If you are unsure, come in and try both — it makes a real difference.
